En la vida para crecer hay que ir superando obstáculos. Las circunstancias y el tiempo juegan a veces en contra y nos vemos obligados a someternos a retos que difuminan y dilatan nuestros limites. Pero si algo bueno tienen las situaciones críticas es que una vez las superas, tomas consciencia de lo mucho de lo que eres capaz, que no es precisamente poco. Y quieres más.

Más altura. Más nivel. Más dificultad. Más vértigo. Más cosquilleos en el estómago. Más adrenalina. Te enganchas a aumentar kilómetros a tu resistencia porque la vida desde la cima promete ser maravillosa.

Y lo que en un principio es pura supervivencia o un mero camino para conseguir un objetivo se acaba convirtiendo en una forma de vida. Una obsesión que se focaliza en las metas sin saborear los medios que llevan a ellas. Los kilómetros de sacrificio y esfuerzo que canalizan los sueños más turbulentos.

Al final, todo esto tiene como consecuencia infravalorar lo conseguido porque aun quedan cosas más difíciles en el tintero. Tener que ir a por ellas como única vía de escape. Y obligarse a conseguirlas como único resultado posible.

Ser inconformista y superarse a uno mismo no deja de ser positivo. Estar en continua evolución, transición y crecimiento es la motivación más humana que existe. Hasta que esas exigencias se convierten en un vaso que nunca se llena a pesar del sudor derramado en él. Hasta que llegar a la cima acaba siendo de todo menos emocionante porque los peros se interponen en la degustación del podio.
