Task Description:
This time, the job involved a new installation of three devices—replacing the entire setup, including the core unit and two sensor cameras. I began by removing the old unit and all the wiring, which appeared quite worn. I started by connecting the new unit to the emergency lighting circuit; following instructions from the remote technician and the work order to replace the cables, I installed the black control unit using two new 1-meter Cat 6 UTP patch cables. Once the devices were detected remotely, I mounted them to the ceiling. After finishing the mounting, I secured the cables, attached the housings, and ran tests on all three sensors. Once I had finished and the technician confirmed everything was in order, I left the store.
